Guyra offers various opportunities for those who enjoy other cultural activities, from a combined churches choir to amateur theatricals to bridge and trivia nights.

There is also a Probus club which arranges outings and a very active Garden Club which travels to a different garden monthly.

Music concerts from classical to jazz are regular events in Armidale, which also often hosts many of the large traveling musical events such as OzOpera.

The New England Regional Art gallery hosts a nationally significant collection as well as regular traveling exhibits. Other art galleries abound.

There is also a very active amateur theatrical scene in Guyra which, in conjunction with university productions, gives a full calendar of events during the year.

The GALA Centre has an art gallery showcasing local works at 136 Bradley Street, Guyra.
